Jack Skellington is the Pumpkin King - the creative genius behind the holiday of Halloween, designing each year to be scarier and more horrible than the one before. However deep inside he longs for more than the horror and scares of Halloween Town, a longing he cannot understand until he stumbles into Christmas Town and sees happiness and cheer the likes of which has evaded him all these years. The rapper said the public expect him to make certain records and he has accepted no matter how many albums he produces, he will have to reference his tough upbringing in New York.

Talking about his latest single, 'Crimewave', he said: "For a certain audience some guys can just make straight pop records and it will go to a 40 or 50 million audience and they can just be happy, like their records.

"But because of the public has assessed me in a certain way, they expect from me to have that kind of aggression that 'Crimewave' embodies.

"And they are looking for that. Even if you have a big hit record like 'P.I.M.P' they still want the 'Crimewave' record, they still want that record that feels like the environment I grew up in feels like."

The rapper, 34, says he accepts his position in the hip-hop world and is happy to keep making hits which please his hardcore fanbase.

He added: "It doesn't put pressure on me because I have assessed it. If they place those standards on you, you got to make the adjustments."
